Supporting charities is something ethical businesses undertake and once again this year The Purple Property Shop will be supporting the Hope 4 Homeless UK charity in Bolton. This charity works tirelessly to support the homeless people of Bolton, providing them with so much support, including hot food, clean clothes and in particularly dry footwear, which is so important when it is cold.
The Purple Property Shop are undertaking a shoebox appeal, asking as many people as possible to donate a shoe box full of items that would benefit a homeless person. The boxes can be dropped into their shop on Blackburn Road in Astley Bridge, Bolton or directly into the charity shop on Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.
The best contents to put in the box are socks, non-perishable food such as biscuits and snacks, small drinks, a tooth brush, toothpaste and similar items. In addition, pot noodles, porridge and other similar foods that can have hot water added are also a great idea. Lots of cafes and coffee shops now offer to fill these up with hot water for the homeless.
This time of the year is particularly harsh for homeless people and The Purple Property Shop is asking as many people as possible to support this worthy charity.
