
The north of England currently provides buy-to-let landlords with a double-digit yield, significantly higher than the south.
A new survey by TotallyMoney analysed more than 500,000 properties marketed for sale online in October 2017 across 2,700 postcodes and revealed a geographical divide between the north and the south of the country. Northern regions came out on top and in particular Liverpool, with the South East showing particularly poorly with not one region featuring in the top 25 UK postcodes in terms of yield.
